Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l'Empordà
This protected wetland area, situated in the county of the Alt Empordà, is the second largest in Catalonia after the Ebro Delta. Here you'll find the light and harmony of the Mediterranean in a place where water, land, people and nature live side by side: beaches and stretches of sand, lakes and salt and freshwater marshes, sustainable farmland, farmhouses and farmyards that are fully integrated into the landscape and more than 300 species of nesting, migratory or wintering birds.
Don't miss it!
